FAQs

We are often asked about our designs and techniques. The following are a list of questions many customers have. If you do not see an answer to your question, please feel free to contact us at: 206.441.4268.

Is it possible to visit your studio?
Our showroom is open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Tours of our production area are permitted by appointment only.

Where are you located?
We are located at 927 Rainier Ave. S., one-block North of the I-90 on-ramp on the West side of the street. Ample street parking is available. You can reach us at 206.441.4268.

How long does it take from design to installation?
Normally, a project takes from four to eight weeks from the time a design is approved and final sizes are determined. However, each project will have its own timeline. We are happy to work with you to adjust our lead times according to the project size and construction schedules.

What is architectural art glass?
Glassworks creates site-specific architectural glass elements that serve as both art pieces and functional items. Every creation is unique and is individually handmade to architectural specifications.

Do you sell to the public?
Yes, we work with individual clients as well as architects, interior designers, and construction companies. Our customer is anyone who has an interest in using our beautiful glass as a design element.

Does your glass meet safety codes?
Yes. Since we often work with architectural installations, safety is an essential part of our fabrication process. Depending upon the installation site and project needs, we can temper or laminate our glass to provide optimum safety without sacrificing artistry or design.

Do you give classes?
No. We are exclusively a fabricator and installer of our own glass creations.

How are your prices determined?
Every project is custom designed and fabricated, therefore prices vary from project to project. Many factors are taken into consideration when pricing a project including glass type, thickness, intricacy of design, and installation location. Projects are never priced per square feet.

What locations will you ship to?
We ship throughout the continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Mexico and Canada.
