Over the years, Glassworks has been on the leading edge of the architectural art glass industry and we have endeavored to stay up-to-date in our communications and technologies. Today we are excited to announce the most recent update to our website, www.glassworksinc.com. This update brings several upgrades including stunning new photo galleries that are more universally viewable on mobile devices. We are also launching our new line of glass shelves and counters, called Tops In Glass in our new online store.

Tops In Glass style "Misu"

Tops In Glass is a new line of prefabricated shelves and counters designed to provide home owners and designers a low-cost alternative to custom glass. Each product within the Tops In Glass line is hand crafted and individually made by the same Glassworks production artist who have created countless custom works of art glass for commercial and residential projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. Our counters and shelves are durable, beautiful and functional glass art pieces – a unique and luminescent alternative to other common surfaces. Each are non-porous; they are stain resistant and do not absorb bacteria or germs, making them highly hygienic. Maintenance is minimal – wipe with a clean damp cloth or use a general glass cleaner – no need to wax or seal the surfaces. In addition to using sustainable materials, our glass emits no volatile organic compounds (VOC’S), making them one of the most environmentally safe materials.

There are currently three distinctive styles to choose from:

• Aisu – Layered white-clear glass (called Starphire) with a scalloped edge
• Midori – Layered glass with a clear blue-green hue and a scalloped edge
• Misu – Slimped plate glass with water texture and polished edge
• Momo – Layered and translucent amber glass with a scalloped edge

Each are available in a variety of sizes, all of which can now be found on our website.
Beginning 2012, our prefab line is no longer featured as a separate section of our website.
These styles are still available and can be ordered through our standard custom quote request.
